Custom Application Developed and delivered

September 9, 2009
"Reconcile & Print SITD" or "Reconcile and Print, Statement, Invoice, Ticket, Delivery Address"
ITCS developed this custom application called "Reconcile & Print SITD" that was developed using Visual Studio 2008 and .Net 3.5 to perform the following for the Ralph Clayton and Son's (RCS) Companies for Clayton Block, Ralph Clayton Cement and Clayton Sand. They needed to be able to first reconcile their Delivery Tickets. RCS has a Document Management System Application by Merex Groups called "FileBound" and they are also using Cardiff's "TeleForm" Application to scan and capture the image and data from each Delivery Ticket and then saves the Data and images for FileBound to Import the data and images. Also FileBound take Statement, Invoice and Delivery Address output reports and and then processes them as a COLD process into FileBound with an image overlay for each companies Statements and Invoices. Here is an overview of the process that the application will perform:

RECONCILE

  • RCS user will start the RSITP application and select a company (Block, Ralph or Sand).
  • Then they will select the date range that they want to check for missing tickets.
  • The user then has the option to select from a predefined list of customers or one or more customers or All customers.
  • Then the user clicks on a PROCESS button to collect all the data.

  • RSITP then compares the tickets Processed by the RCS system to the received and stored tickets in the FileBound.

When a ticket is found in both, we mark it as "Reconciled", but if we have a ticket that was processed and we do not have a ticket in FileBound we mark it as "Missing".

  • Then the user can click on the REPORT button and see a report for what they had just processed on the screen to Review, Print, Export to Excel or PDF. The user can perform the above as often as they want and for what ever date range that they want.
  • The SAVE button must be performed for that date range or the next section will not work and then at a later date it can be recalled to view and print.

PRINT

  • RCS user will now begin to Print the Statements Invoices, and Delivery Tickets
  •  Just like the Reconcile Process the user has to select the Company that they want to process.
  • Then they have to select the date range, then select the option of Predefined Customers, One or More Customers or ALL Customers.
  • Then the user then selects the Print Option that they want to process (i.e. Print Statements ONLY or Print Statement, Invoice, Ticket & Delivery Addresses and several other options).
  • Then click on the PROCESS button.

  1. The application collected all data for those customers selected (i.e. Statements, Invoices, Delivery Tickets and Delivery Address for the date range selected.).
  2. The user is informed that the process has completed and how many documents it has processed or will print.

  • Then the user clicks on the PRINT button and the process will begin as follows:
  1. User is presented with the Print Dialog box to select the printer that they will print this job to.
  2. The RSITP will then select the first customer in the date range,
  3. Then the first Statement, if there is to be a Statement printed, if there is then retrieves the Statement text file and merges the data with the appropriate statement image and sends it to the print queue.
  4. Then the first Invoice for that statement, if there is to be an Invoice printed,  if there is then retrieves the Invoice text file and merges the data with the appropriate invoice image and sends it to the print queue.
  5. Then the first Delivery Ticket for that invoice, if there is to be an Ticket printed, if there is then it gets the appropriate Delivery Ticket image and sends it to the print queue.
  6. Repeats the above Ticket process until there are not other tickets for that invoice.
  7. Then the first Delivery Address for that invoice, if there is to be an Delivery Address printed,  if there is then retrieves the Delivery Address text file and merges the data with the appropriate delivery address image and sends it to the print queue.
  8. Then it look to see if there is another Invoice to process, if there is then is repeats the above processes, if NOT then it looks for the next customer and repeats the above process.

  • When all Customers and there jobs for that date range have completed the RSITP is completed.

Prevention is better than a cure!

March 2009

Get protected – and stay protected!

AVG 8.5 helps you stay safe while you shop, bank online watch videos, search or surf the web, download music, documents and pictures, and email or chat. Every document or file you download, every web page or link you click on, is scanned by AVG before you open it. Unlike other security products, we stop the threats before they reach your hard drive and become a problem. Safe internet surfing is now possible.

Traditional antivirus isn't enough!

"Traditional" viruses and spyware keep on growing - every day we see tens of thousands of new examples in our labs. And online criminals are getting smarter– they keep inventing types of threat that have never been seen before, usually aimed at stealing your bank account, credit card details or other personal information, so we’ve developed an extra layer of identity theft protection that sits on top of traditional antivirus and antispyware software. It looks for changes in your PC's behavior that are caused by new threats – and then stops them in their tracks.

Threats can be here today, gone tomorrow!

Cybercriminals are also setting up their own web sites – or poisoning legitimate websites – to distribute all sorts of malware over the internet. These web “exploits” are often around for less than a day, shutting up shop once they’ve infected enough people for that day. So to counter this, we’ve developed real-time software protection that gives you safety ratings for web pages and stops you opening the bad ones at the only time that matters – when you’re about to click the link.

To prevent the above contact ITCS or for more information click on the AVG 8.5 .

  • In today's fast paced global business environment, handling paper and managing electronically-saved information are two bottlenecks that an organization can no longer afford.

With legislation such as the Health Insurance Portability and Accounting Act (HIPAA), the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA), Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), and the revised Federal Rules of Civil Procedure (FRCP), plus the skyrocketing costs of electronic discovery, these are no longer merely a drain on an organization's productivity; they can be financially devastating if not properly managed.

DocumentLOKTM and ContentLOKTM, the innovative document and content management products from Bull Valley Software, allow your organization to spend more time on business-critical and income-producing projects - instead of on administrative and paper-based chores.

ITCS, LLC - LighthouseTM - Library Automation System

July 2008

ITCS was contracted by Runnemede Public Library to develop a replacement Library Management Software. Runnemede Public Library was using Winnebago - Spectrum that was not being supported by the latest owners. They were having problems with Spectrum and it was determined that there was no upgrade to the software. Their only option was to replace the software, but the company was very light on what there software looked like and was not reassuring to them as that the corrupted Spectrum data would be correct in their software. Kathleen Vasinda - Librarian and the board decided to look at other avenues. ITCS offered to develop an application  that resembled Spectrum, but added many new features that they wanted. ITCS decided to develop a complete Library management software for small and medium size Libraries called Lighthouse - Library Automation System "Lighting the way in Library automation".

.The first (Patrons) of the three major (Patrons, Materials & Circulation) sections of the Lighthouse was installed and operational in October 2008.
